| What is the consultation? |
| Gerard, our owner, has over 20 years
experience in cleaning. He is a Certified Indoor
Environmentalist as well as a Certified Residential Mold Inspector.
His knowledge and experience combined give him the expertise to
diagnose most indoor air quality issues. He will come to your home and do the
following: |

- Laser test the air in each room of
your home to evaluate the level of particulate pollutants in the air
column. (Houses should read one
hundred thousand to three hundred thousand particles per cubic foot
of air. Some houses have tested over ten million particles per
cubic foot, which may explain why the occupants had compromised
health.)
- Read the relative humidity in each
room (Optimum levels between
30-50%).
- Take dirt and dust samples from your
carpet and upholstery.
- A visual walk through of the house
looking for weaknesses and problem areas
(For example: high ledges that collect
dust or mold in refrigerator drip pans).
- Test your humidifiers and air
purifiers.
- Test your vacuum cleaner to ensure
that it's doing the job it was designed to do.
- Moisture read the drywall behind the
shower to detect any possible water leaks.
- Dust mite test and mold test
optional. Specify when making the appointment if interested.

| Most people don't
associate health with indoor environments. After this
consultation you will know what types of indoor pollution may be
present in your home and what you can do to minimize or eradicate it.
With all the information gathered Gerard will be able to give you
solutions for any detected problems. Furthermore, he will show
you how to optimally maintain your home with your cleaning tools or
let you know what types of tools you may need.
Maintaining a clean house is not
complicated, but it does take a conscious effort on the part of the
primary cleaning person. I highly recommend that you invite your
primary cleaning person (you, your family members, or paid staff) to
join Gerard at the consultation. |
