Organic Cotton and Pure Grow Wool^TM Mattress

Our hand-tufted mattresses are covered with a gentle, caressing organic fabric. But under the soft-to-the-touch cover is the perfect support. Our US-made tempered innersprings are covered with layers upon layers of fluffy organic cotton. Then for the ultimate touch, we wrap it with our Pure Grow Wool™. For your personal preference, we crafted this mattress in three firmnesses: Firm, Extra Firm, Super Firm.

The Innerspring is layered in organic cotton, then wrapped in Pure Grow Wool^TM.  These layers are tufted to an organic cotton ticking cover.  The organic cotton has no pesticides, defoliants or mineral oils.  This mattress does not require a doctor's prescription.  The corresponding boxspring is recommended.  

Qualities of Cotton and Wool

Cotton is the most universally comfortable, versatile and durable of all fibers, natural and man-made. It’s properties make it a good conductor of heat for hot climates. And since it can absorb about 1/5th its weight without feeling damp, it provides a comfortable sleep in humid conditions. And what about wool? Wool has many unique characteristics, three of which are very important to your sleeping environment.

• The springy, resilient wool-fiber batting structures contain an abundance of air. This combination acts to cushion the body and prevent the formation of painful pressure points.

• Wool has the ability to absorb large amounts of moisture vapor without feeling wet and clammy. This is important since the average person perspires a pint of vapor during an 8-hour sleep.

• It is the best year-round sleeping environment since it provides the most comfortable sleeping microclimate under different temperature conditions.
