Natural Aurora Mattress

The Natural Aurora reads and responds to each person differently, making this mattress the most comfortable and responsive natural spring mattress. The coils work independently of one another, allowing each spring to conform to a person’s own curves. Covered with natural cotton muslin, this mattress will support you while embracing you. The final, and most visual step, is the natural viscose cover.

Comprised of a unique pocketed coil innerspring that allows for an independent motion of each coil, allowing coils to adjust and conform individually to different body shapes.  The Innersprings are covered on each side with 2" of 100% pure natural latex.  The latex provides softness while the innerspring gives support to the body.  The entire mattress is covered with organic cotton and Pure Grow Wool™ quilted to an organic cotton cover.  The 1000 coil on coil boxspring is recommended.  Also available is the slat frame and the wood foundation.

Qualities of Cotton and Wool

Cotton is the most universally comfortable, versatile and durable of all fibers, natural and man-made. It’s properties make it a good conductor of heat for hot climates. And since it can absorb about 1/5th its weight without feeling damp, it provides a comfortable sleep in humid conditions. And what about wool? Wool has many unique characteristics, three of which are very important to your sleeping environment.

• The springy, resilient wool-fiber batting structures contain an abundance of air. This combination acts to cushion the body and prevent the formation of painful pressure points.

• Wool has the ability to absorb large amounts of moisture vapor without feeling wet and clammy. This is important since the average person perspires a pint of vapor during an 8-hour sleep.

• It is the best year-round sleeping environment since it provides the most comfortable sleeping microclimate under different temperature conditions.
