               - More economical than sticky traps which may capture 3-10 roaches depending on size

HOW IT WORKS

With a Buggy Beamer® Roach Trap, the roach interrupts an unseen infrared beam which triggers a high speed mechanism. The trap deposits the roach into a sealed disposable replacement cartridge. Natural roach cannibalism further composts the roach remains. Since roaches flee from movement, they crowd the spaces away from the briefly opening entrance during triggering. The high technology pulsed circuit insures battery life in excess of a year with normal use. Roaches wander in during seasonal activity (the operating principal of all traps and baits.) The cartridge holds up to 100’s of roaches and when full, can sanitarily be disposed in the trash and a new cartridge inserted.

CATCHING ROACHES

Finding the right location to place the new Buggy Beamer® Roach Trap or a “glue sticky trap” in your home is the key to their effectiveness. Traps must be placed where the roaches “hang out.” Keep in mind, the season of the year and the time of the day can also determine the presence of active foraging roaches.

The inventor of the Buggy Beamer® Roach Trap resides in Phoenix Arizona, where he has noticed the most popular “gathering spot” for roaches in his home is in the cool, dark, and “moisture available” bathrooms. In his home, the prominent roach variety seen is the Periplaneta american or the American Cockroach. The period of heightened roach activity is most prominent during spring, summer and early fall. During the winter months, he sees no significant roach activity. In other areas of Phoenix, success with the Buggy Beamer® Roach Trap with small Blatta germanica or German Cockroach was noticed in the kitchen areas of test locations.

Did you know, roaches do not smell? Sticky traps, the Buggy Beamer® Roach Traps, or baits must be placed where roaches will stumble into them. In spite of some claims, there is no evidence that any “attractant or bait” exists for any variety of roach. Only when the roach is actively looking for a hiding place or food and water does the roach discover a trap with the use of his sensing antennas.

What are your choices? Roach traps to collect health hazard roach remains for disposal may be combined with poisons (sprays, powder or baits) in the home to monitor roach populations. If you prefer a poison free home, roach traps may be used exclusively. No matter what the claim, no single roach trap can attract and catch all the roaches in an area. Persistent trapping is the key.

The Buggy Beamer® Roach Trap is the world’s best trap and is a historic leap in roach trap technology.
